About the event



            The International Meeting on Urban Environment is an academic event, of national and international coverage, dedicated to the scientific discussion of the vast problems related to the Urban Environment, through a legal and interdisciplinary approach.


             At this first event, to be held on the 29th, 30th and 31st May 2012 in São Paulo, Brazil, the Meeting’s main theme will be sustainable urban management, seeking to identify and discuss the main contemporary urban challenges, pointing out interdisciplinary solutions and alternatives to the perfection and elevation of sustainable quality of urban life.


Who can participate?


         The event welcomes the participation of graduate and post-graduate students, professionals and researchers on Law, Geography, Geology, Sociology, Urbanism, Engineering and other disciplines related to the study and the sustainable management of the urban environment, as well as community members in general.
